Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Manage the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
- Manage cash flow effectively, optimizing working capital and ensuring sufficient liquidity.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Work closely with external auditors during annual audits.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making, providing financial insights and analysis.
- Evaluate and implement new accounting systems and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as [Example: QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle]. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
